The interest rate payable to APGVB Staff and APGVB retired staff will be 1.00% above the applicable rates. APGVB Senior Citizen Pensioners will get both the benefits of Staff (1%) and Senior Citizens (0.50%).

The revised rates of interest are applicable to fresh deposits and renewals of maturing deposits.

Differential interest rate: An additional rate of interest up to 1.00% over the applicable rate on single domestic Term Deposit of Rs. 15 lakhs and above for the maturity period of one year and above. However, branches should obtain prior permission from Head Office before offering the differential rate of interest. Differential interest rates are not applicable to special deposit schemes.

Premature payment of Term Deposits:

a. Interest to be paid on premature withdrawal of Term Deposits at 1.00% below the rate applicable for the period deposit has remained with the Bank.
b. No premature penalty shall be levied on APGVB staff and APGVB retired staff.

Vikas 800 Deposit Scheme: General public 9.00%, Senior Citizens 9.50%, Staff 10.00% and Pensioner of APGVB (Including Staff Senior Citizen) 10.50%. The other terms and conditions circulated vide our Cir No. Gen/ 46/ 2010-11, dated 14.10.2010 and Cir.No. Gen/ 62 / 2010-11, dated 31.12.2010 remains unchanged.

Vikas 1000 Deposit Scheme: General public 9.00%, Senior Citizens 9.50%, Staff 10.00% and Pensioner of APGVB (Including Staff Senior Citizen) 10.50%. The other terms and conditions circulated vide our Cir. No. Gen/ 59 / 2010-11, dated 26.11.2010 remains unchanged.

Vikas Lakshadhikari Recurring Deposit Scheme: The revised interest rates will be applicable for the deposits under Vikas Lakshadhikari Recurring Deposit Scheme also. The other terms and conditions circulated vide our Cir. No. Gen / 58 / 2010-11, dated 26.11.2010 remains unchanged.

Vikas Ubhaya Taraka Scheme – 2006 (APGVB Tax Savings Scheme):

The revised interest rates will be applicable for the deposits under Vikas Ubhaya Taraka scheme – 2006 (APGVB Tax Savings Scheme).

Savings Bank A/c: The interest rate on Savings Bank Account remains unchanged @ 3.50% p.a.
